Dave Haslam & Cressa In Conversation
2nd June 2022 - 6:45 pm
Gorilla
Age Restrictions: 14+

Exclusive event to mark the publication of Dave Haslam’s new short format book ‘Not All Roses; The Life & Times of Stephen Cresser’, a profoundly moving insight into the world of music and the depths of addiction.

In the 1980s, Cressa was hailed in i-D as ‘the face of Manchester’, he went on the road with Happy Mondays, and was onstage with the Stone Roses at their big shows and their first TV appearance. In the mid 1990s he co-founded a band called Bad Man Wagon, became close friends with both Damien Hirst and Joe Strummer but then disappeared from view. What happened next? He became addicted to heroin, and homeless…

The evening will see Dave Haslam and Cressa in conversation and also feature an audience Q&A, and, at the end of the show, they will both be available for a book signing session. Doors 6.45pm, onstage event starts 7.30pm.
