International Women’s Day – Bad Bitch Club x Loose Fit

We love celebrating International Women’s Day and have some amazing things planned to celebrate some of our favourite Women in the music industry.
We are teaming up with our good mates and all round legends Bad Bitch Club x Loose Fit for a big ol’ late night party.
If you’re out and about at all the amazing IWD events in the city centre- we are doing an afterparty!
The party kicks off 8-Late in Gorilla’s main bar area and we will be going into the early hours.
This means you’ll have time to nip over from Deaf Institutes ‘Run the Show’ Event to hang out and network (Drink bad bitch cocktails)

8-9pm – PHIA SKY (Flowers of Evil)

PHIA SKY is an artist/producer from Manchester, creating erratic electropop melodies. PHIA’s DJ set explores her influences with relentless grooves, chiptune excursions and some of her own edits and unreleased work sprinkled in.

9-10pm Chardine Taylor Stone (Big Joanie)

Chardine is an award winning Queer activist, writer and drummer in MOBO-Nominated Black Feminist Punk band, Big Joanie.

10pm-late DJ POLLY

With residencies at The Venue and Deaf Institute, POLLY has been spinning tunes across Manchester and beyond. Having played the likes of Glastonbury Festival, Manchester Psych Fest, YES, Manchester Academy and more she’s knows how to get people moving and grooving. Expect post-punk/alternative/electronic/dance – all thinks chunky and funky 🤠
