The Manchester based quartet exude youthful positivity with impossibly expansive and high-energy songwriting. Not subscribing to any particular genre, exploring pop, r’n’b, funk and jazz – they have received early support from the likes of NME, DIY, Dork and Clash alongside Steve Lamacq, Mary Anne Hobbs, Chris Hawkins and Lauren Laverne – resulting in BBC 6 Music playlists for recent singles ‘Dirty Love’ ‘Closer’ and ‘150’. Love from Huw Stephen’s on BBC Radio 1 as his ‘Ones to watch’ and John Kennedy making the band his ‘Big One’ on Radio X and continued heavy rotation from BBC Introducing.
